LVOBO Introduces the BO-UCH-F Series Intelligent Ultrasonic Cell Disruptor for Laboratory Sample Processing
LVOBO is pleased to introduce the new BO-UCH-F Series Intelligent Ultrasonic Cell Disruptor, designed for laboratory cell disruption, sample homogenization, ultrasonic dispersion, and liquid-phase processing.
Featuring a split-type configuration with a separate ultrasonic generator and an enclosed sound-insulated processing chamber, the BO-UCH-F Series integrates touchscreen control, motorized sample positioning, adjustable ultrasonic power, and continuous and pulse sonication modes.
The series includes eight models with ultrasonic power ratings from 150W to 1500W and sample processing capacities ranging from 5 mL to 2000 mL, providing flexible configurations for different laboratory applications and sample requirements.
The BO-UCH-F Series adopts a split-type design consisting of two main components:
Enclosed Sound-Insulated Processing Chamber
The enclosed chamber provides a dedicated workspace for ultrasonic processing. It features a motorized lifting platform that allows users to adjust the position of the sample vessel relative to the ultrasonic probe.
Independent Ultrasonic Generator
The separate control unit features a touchscreen interface for adjusting ultrasonic power, total working time, output time, and interval time.
By separating the control unit from the processing chamber, the system provides a practical arrangement for laboratory operation and sample handling.
The BO-UCH-F Series features an intuitive touchscreen control system with multiple adjustable operating functions.
Adjustable Power: Ultrasonic output power can be adjusted from 0% to 100%.
Continuous Sonication: Supports uninterrupted ultrasonic output during the set working period.
Pulse Sonication: Alternates between ultrasonic output and pause periods, with independently adjustable output and interval times.
Time Control: Total working time, output time, and interval time can be configured.
Motorized Lifting: Allows convenient adjustment of the sample vessel position.
Temperature Monitoring and Alarm: Supports an adjustable temperature alarm threshold from 0°C to 99°C.
Recipe Memory: Supports saving and recalling experimental parameter settings.
Overload Protection: Provides protection during equipment operation.
These functions allow laboratory users to configure ultrasonic processing conditions according to sample characteristics and experimental requirements.
To accommodate different laboratory sample volumes and processing requirements, the BO-UCH-F Series offers eight model configurations.
| Model | Ultrasonic Power | Processing Capacity | Standard Probe |
|---|---|---|---|
| BO-UCH150F | 150W | 5–150 mL | Φ3 mm |
| BO-UCH300F | 250W | 5–300 mL | Φ6 mm |
| BO-UCH500F | 350W | 5–500 mL | Φ8 mm |

Different models are equipped with corresponding titanium alloy probes, while additional probe diameters are available as optional configurations to accommodate different vessel sizes and processing requirements.
All models share the same external equipment dimensions. The main differences are ultrasonic power, processing capacity, and probe configuration, allowing laboratories to select a suitable model based on their actual application needs.
An ultrasonic cell disruptor converts electrical energy into high-frequency mechanical vibrations through a transducer. These vibrations are transmitted into the liquid sample through a titanium alloy probe.
As ultrasonic waves propagate through the liquid, acoustic cavitation occurs. Microscopic bubbles form, expand, and collapse, generating localized shear forces and other mechanical effects within the liquid.
This process supports a range of laboratory applications, including:
Cell Disruption and Lysis: Processing microbial and biological samples.
Sample Homogenization: Mixing and homogenizing liquid and suspension samples.
Ultrasonic Dispersion: Dispersing powders, particles, and nanomaterials in liquid media.
Ultrasonic Emulsification: Processing liquid systems for emulsification.
Ultrasound-Assisted Extraction: Supporting the extraction of compounds from plant, biological, and other materials.
Laboratory Sample Preparation: Preparing samples for subsequent testing, analysis, and research.
The BO-UCH-F Series can be configured for a variety of laboratory applications across different research and industrial fields.
Typical application areas include:
Biotechnology and Life Sciences
Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Research
University and Research Laboratories
Microbiology and Fermentation Research
Food Science and Testing
Cosmetics Research and Development
